TURBOCHARGER REGENERATION PROCESS

Turbocharger repair is a complex and time-consuming process carried out by highly qualified personnel using advanced technical machinery.

The regeneration process at our company consists of the following stages:

1. Disassembly of the turbocharger into individual parts.

2. Cleaning of the disassembled turbo parts using ultrasonic technology.

3. Automatic sandblasting of the aluminum and cast iron housing.

4. Assembly and balancing of the turbocharger core (we use parts from our own production).

5. Installation of the core into the turbocharger and setting the variable geometry/ wastegate valve.

6. Replacement of moving parts in the actuator (only applies to turbo models with electronic control).

 

All work is done using high-quality machines:

• Balancing machine – TurboTechnics VSR400
• Geometry setting – Turboclinic VNT Analyser
• Actuator repair – Deltatech VNTT-PRO, G3 REA-MASTER

Turbo installation:

1. Ensure the turbocharger fits your vehicle.
2. Clean the intake, exhaust, and oil lines.
3. Replace the oil and filters as per the manufacturer's recommendations.
4. Fill the turbocharger with oil and manually rotate the rotor.
5. Install the turbocharger, connect the lines, and ensure a proper seal.
6. Start the engine at idle, check oil pressure, and ensure no leaks.

 

Is there any way to "extend the life of your turbocharger"?

Yes! By following these recommendations, you won’t have any issues with your turbo:

1. Regular oil changes – Use high-quality oil as recommended by the manufacturer and change it on time.
2. Maintain a clean DPF filter – A clogged DPF filter often leads to leaks on the hot side of the turbocharger and cracks in the turbine housing.
3. Let the turbo cool down – After a long trip, cool your engine by letting it idle for a while, especially after highway driving.
4. Keep the systems clean – Ensure the intake, exhaust, and cooling systems, as well as air filters, are clean.
5. Ensure proper lubrication – Keep the oil lines clean and maintain the correct oil pressure.
